Latest Birthday Cards

I finally got some crafting time again thanks to all these lovely bank holidays!

As The Planner Society goodies are my current cardmaking go to supplies I got them out once again.

So this is very similar to a card I’ve made before. I’ve been wanting to recreate it for a while now.

This is using papers I believe from Jan’s Planner Society kit? I just cut out the same sunburst design on four different papers and put them together like a puzzle. I backed that with the same paper as the scalloped circle – which came from a Dovecraft Paper Pack. Despite only being paper, the scalloped circle isn’t too flimsy. The stamp is from Lawn Fawn and just stamped onto some thick cream cardstock.

I’m not sure about my paper choice here. If I were to make it again I’d probably swap out the swan paper for something a little more muted.

This card is based on something similar I found on Pinterest and I love how this turned out! So did my mum, who swiped this when she came to visit last weekend!

On the base of the card I used a very pale grey from a cardstock pad I have. This just allowed the white doily to stand out a little as the card blank I was using was white. The butterfly I found on the Silhouette store and used a pink from the same cardstock pack. I tried to match the pink from the Planner Society paper as much as possible. The stamp is from a Tatty Teddy Mother’s Day set that I can’t seen to find anywhere online sadly.

I’m definitely going to be making some more variations of this card, I love it!
