Bright Happy Birthday Cards
A quick post today with some birthday cards I’ve recently made

I used to always hit up Pinterest if I wanted some greetings card inspiration. This time I took a look at Instagram for a change. In ten minutes of browsing I found more inspiration than an hour of Pinterest!
I have a whole stash of ideas saved and decided to use this one for the inspiration for these cards.
I needed a card for a male and so wanted something I could adapt. The recipient isn’t really into music, and so I went for a more neutral style, with darker colours. I picked out a nice strong blue cardstock from my Papermania pack*. Going through my fonts on Silhouette, I found a nice script one that would weld together nicely. It took me longer than I wanted to find this little scalloped rectangle shape. Digging through my stamps, I found one from a Lawn Fawn set* that was in a nice, simple font. In place of the musical paper, I used some white textured cardstock*. The ‘happy birthday’ has been stuck using 3d foam dots to create a nice raised effect. The card is then finished off with some enamel dots from my stash.
Because I always like to make multiple of a card, I made another in yellow. This is a great card to keep in my stash for any last minute card requirements, as it’ll suit anyone.
