The owner of Chily Leather* reached out a few weeks ago, asking if I wanted to try a cover to review. I asked if they could make me a custom cover for my Nolty Listy, and they happily obliged.
With so many leather colours to choose from I was spoilt for choice. I finally settled on this gorgeous orange colour*.
This leather is very soft and smooth to the touch, with just a little of texture. I think this will wear really well over time. I’m very clumsy and the leather hasn’t scratched up at all yet.
The cover has the perfect amount of storage.
On the inside cover you get three pockets. On a Weeks sized cover these will likely be card sided, but as the Nolty is an A5 slim and so the pockets are just larger than business card size.
The pocket to slip the planner into is nice and roomy, based on the sizes I gave to Chily Leather. I wanted to have the option to use this with the cover that comes with the Nolty, if needed.
In the back there is another pocket, ideally sized for sticker sheets.
Finally, there is a Hobonichi style pen loop, that keeps the planner closed.
The finish on this cover is really high quality. The stitching is perfect, the ends are well sealed, and there’s no danger of frayed edges.
I’ve enjoyed setting this up for my Nolty.
The cover brightens up my day and carries everything I need to aid my planning on the go.
If you’re in the market for a leather cover, I highly recommend Chily Leather. I’ve already got my eye on another cover – this time for my Weeks*.
